yeah, NY isn't great for taxes either and so it is all relative. i have a coworker paying $12K/year for taxes on a condo in the pearl river area.

Also looking for a job. History major from Kenyon College...looking to paralegal at a law firm or perhaps even do commodities trading?

...Just don't sleep on the dreaded PA property tax which can be upwards of 25mills in some of the more urban areas. On a $300k home you're looking at roughly $7.5k annually. The state legislature keeps promising reform, but I don't see it.

there are a TON of spots open for us, anyone electrical engineering or software? looks like about 30 some spots for fresh grads, plus several admin openings as well. Just reduce your search to the state of PA. Information systems and technologies is the name of the King of Prussia division.
