Then about 2 miles down the road, he pulled us over while we were in the right lane, said he clocked us going 80 (I checked the spedometer as we passed the cop to see if we should expect a ticket and her needle was barely at 75), and then was a dick when my sister was reading the ticket, telling her to hurry up because he couldnt stand outside all night.

I'm game for a mini-caravan of 8's even if its just 3 or 4 of us. I'll post another plea on the actual thread itself.
That and I just talked to Drew to drop my car off tomorrow. Getting my Visor Replaced, my headlights looked at (odd technicolor film inside), and my first oil change for free hehe. Starting to really wanna find this previous owner and beat him up! I know the visor will be free but the headlights worry me.

Sorry for the late reply, I wasn't home this weekend. I just started work at Raytheon in Portmouth and live down the street in downtown middletown.
I just got the car a few weeks ago so I haven't done much in terms of mods, so far got 05 retractable key and changed interior blubs to blue. I attached some pics, I'll post more once I take a few more pics.

The sticker was made for the inside - but you'd never see it through the tint. At least you get to read it when you drive.
rx8RI - if yours is the blue I mentioned at the beginning of the thread - nice work!! You're part of the reason I didn't get WB. I knew it would take to long to catch up to u in mods.

Saw a gray Explorer on the way home from work yesterday - license plate RE - something (sorry - didn't get it all)
It's an unmarked State Trooper. Fully tinted windows all around. Thankfully he had already pulled someone over, cuz I would likely have blown by him on RT 6.

^ saw your post in the recall thread - you're getting a new engine?? Bought & owned in RI only?? Damn. So much for warm climate areas being the main problem. Good luck.

So apparently Nevada is not the only state where prostitution is legal.

Yeah, tops on the docket at the General Assembly these days:
1. Loophole that allows for indoor, consenting prostitution
2. Removing part of the name of the state
3. Same sex marraige/divorce
Half a billion dollar deficit? Meh, let's concentrate on the important stuff.
Happy endings are about the only thing this state has going for it these days.

Hi, everyone! Here's another RX8 owner from RI! I just retired as a college administrator after working for 22 years at Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester, and commuting all that time from my home in Providence.
I bought my 8 in September of 2006. In the past I've had mostly MT cars, including several 280z/300zx's, but I also had an 82 RX7. I decided for this one to go the AT route, and I'm completely happy with that, as I don't feel the need to win the drags at the stop lights. My wife and I were looking for a sporty car that also allowed us to take our daughter and granddaughter along on trips with us. There are no mods.
I haven't posted much at all here, but now that I'm retired, you'll probably here from me more often. dmc27, you list "Quahog" as you location, and I don't believe there really is such a place - so where are you really?!

Right you are . . . Quahog only exists in the mind & work of Seth MacFarlane.
Living in Barrington, working in Cranston.
You should join us for a drive July 11th (Kancamagus Run) - make it a retirement run.
. . . and don't worry - the MT isn't the difference between winning and losing "the drags at the stop lights."
