I'd love to drive up, as long as you guys slow down on the unpaved parts. I can deal with the dust & dirt—kinda—but little paint chips make me unhappy. They shouldn't (chips—and life, for that matter—happen), but they do.

Not a problem on the dirt roads. As I mentioned, this is not a "spirited" run, but more of a cruise to check out the scenery and some cool old covered bridges.

I'm a Miata guy at heart also. Being the President of the local Miata club, it's hard to squeeze time for 8 runs also. This is why I am doing this run, it went over big with the Miata folks so I figured I'd do it for the 8 folks too.
I've had a 90 Mariner and now a 10AE Miata

Kev.. whats the exact date on this again??? got confused with all the dates flying around lol.
Not going down south sadly got screwd ova kinda on some $$$ but 'eh.. by the time the run does happen I should have clear corners and Racing Beat Screens installed WooT!!

I am still a go for this! Hopefully the weather will be great and the leaves will look nice!
I'll be bringing a friend with me to navigate as I am new to New England and this is my first 8 get together. I have a tendancy to be a little shy at first.

Just got back from Houston @ 330 am this morning. I am a go for this run barring no catastrophies. I think I have finally figured out a security device for my tail lights so they don't end up mysteriously dissapearing and on another BB 8! Ohh Hey CLAVIUS!

My brother is no help on answering our question of the legality of the taillights but a friend agreed with me "If they looked factory you could just tell a cop they are and they'll be none the wiser".
Gonna see about bringing a lady friend with me.. hehe.. though might have to use bait of "ya might get a chance to drive my baby...." but I trust her.. wait no.. I lust after her.. I'll admit it hehe..

Glad you can make the run. The run is kid friendly. We do have some bio breaks on the run, a lunch stop, and depending on time, 2 ice cream stops.
Don't worry about folks driving safely, anyone who drive like an idiot WILL be asked to leave the group. I am organizing this run and don't need the trouble of worrying about folks driving abilities. As I mentioned in an earlier post, this will be a leisurely cruise to check out some cool old covered bridges and some nice fall colors.

Well the girl I was hoping to bring with me just got a new job as a hairdresser so she'll most likely be working that Saturday (it is a saturday still right?!) so thats a downer.
