Stokein' !

. . . (sorry that was said with my best New Jersey accent).

Looks like a great event, do any other rotaries besides Mazdas come? I haven't seen a Panhard or NSU in a few years.

Lightbulb MD, VA caravan possibility

Hey anyone coming from the Maryland and Northern VA area? Anyone interested in going up in a caravan of RX-8's? Anyone interested please post your comments so that we can figure out a meeting place. Maybe some guys from the MSCW club are going up as well in a caravan. Let's do this!!!

Well that's cool as long as I'm not the only "8" in the pack.

So I'll say it again any RX-8 from the Wash Metro area going up the Rotorfest?? :D

The body of water shown in the photo above is more of a fire pond since there is no water utility providing for fire hydrants. I doubt if there are any fish in it.
Also note the facility varies between a mud hole if there has been any rain and a dust bowl if not. Not an ideal locale for any attempt at concours.
The facility is the home of the Sussex County Farm & Horse Show now known as NJ State Fair. It has horse stables, riding rings, livestock pens and lots of grassy parking unless rainy, see above. I have attended a stand during the fair for many of the past 15 years as a resident of Sussex County.

Exclamation Caravan to ROTORFEST

Hey, if anyone from the MD/DC/VA area interested in caravaning up to this years ROTORFEST a bunch of guys from "nopistons.com" are meeting up in Baltimore MD. Here's the quote:

"How about 83N and Mt. Carmel rd(rt 137). There is a park n ride there with a gas station and a small shopping center. I believe the town is called Hereford. Its 15 min. north of Hunt Valley/Cockeysville.

If you are coming from the south you make a right off the ramp and there is a park n ride. Its a few miles south of the PA line.

How does 12:00pm sound?"

There was a little confusion on my part but I heard that this would be the day before Rotorfest on Saturday. I guess b/c these guys plan on going to the "pre-rotorfest party".

I'll be there as well as some other guys with RX-8's.

Maybe if anyone else is caravaning further South from that point let us know then we can possibly meet up with the "nopistons.com" guys and we'll go up in a massive rotory caravan of vehicles to ROTORFEST !! :D
