Oh, sure, dump it on me. O'Charleys is okay, I guess..but can't we come up with something a little less generic? Do you guys like Japanese? Sakura in the Babys-R-Us parking lot is almost NEVER busy, and I'll bet they'd love to have a big group come in. Depending on how hungry everyone was, we could even do a hibachi table.

Heck if anyone has any kids to bring we could go to Chuckie Cheese. BTW, it's the CarMax Marketing Department's fault you can't go in to that CC unless you have a kid now- we kinda took it over for a coworker's goodbye party two years ago. Oops.

But, from a quality stand point...I am not too thrilled with them.
But, what you say about the lot and parking is right on the money.
And I would love to see CHIRORX8 go through the ball crawl at Chucky Cheese.

We could go across the street to Akida then, instead. What was wrong when you went? Last time I was there, the salmon I had was the freshest, best salmon I've ever had in Richmond. Perhaps one of us went on an off day.

Weeell, you also have to understand I used to live in Japan for a while and my girlfriend is Japanese...so my taste buds are realy sensitive to poor quality Japanese food.
Akida is not much better.... I would say for Richmond if you want good Japanese food you have to go to either KOBE or HANAZUSHI..
Wich aint fantanstic but respectable.

In that case pretty much anything you get in the US is pretty crappy, isn't it? We have the same problem with Italian food, since Steve used to live there. There just isn't anything close to it, really, except sometimes Pasta Luna.

I am from NY and I used to go to Japanese resturaunts and Ramen shops all the time, and it was authentic.
Richmond just doesn't have the pouplation.
But, if you guys wanna come to my place I will be more than happy to have all of you come over. My girl can make sushi.
Pleanty of parking too.
Tobbaco Row is a nice place to throw a party!
