To early, I have to work overnight on friday. I get off at 6am on saturday morning and I don't think it would be too smart not sleeping for that long then driving for an hour. Sad I can't make it see you guys next month.

Any idea where you kids are gonna park? There isn't a ton of visitor spaces... I'm assuming perhaps down back behind the building?
I believe there's also some sort of connected lot on the north side of the main dealership too...
Ditto on the dirty car. I ain't washin' it tonight, and it's really BAD. judging by the front brake dust, at least you can tell I DRIVE the thing
Getting me up before noon on a saturday though is challenging, lol.
I just hope I can find the darn place... lesseee... turn right at end of driveway... drive a couple miles... turn into dealership. Who needs a Nav?

I am sure they will have spaces sorted out on the day. It would make sense that would be their first priority. Esp if this is going to be helping their business. 'I' would want everyone to 'see' the RX-8's passing by, know what I mean.
Should be an enjoyable morning!

Hey, nice to meet ya all! Brief as it was for us
Fun to see 8's in various stages of mods (or not). I'm surprised how different the car can look with new wheels and such. I think it's a beautiful car in any form, stock or otherwise.
And OK, I think I'm gonna try Zaino now
It turned into a service visit for us, as I've been trying to figure out a hesitation problem after gear changes for months now... and the one tech was kind enough to grab his computer and go for a nice long ride. Nothing quite like driving with a data cable snaking around your legs, lol. He said he didn't see anything unusual in the logs, though he did feel the "bobble" at times. Claims it's "just the car." Ah well.
Ernie is a cool guy... always nice to see him. He made us feel very at home when we bought our 8 there.

Sorry that Jason, Kel, Feras, and others couldn't make it. It was a nice morning. Ernie did a fine job hosting. Everyone there received a "goodie bag" with a nice Zoom-Zoom T-shirt, Mazdaspeed hat, Mazda keychain, pen and calculator. Coffee and donuts in the morning, and a nice buffet of pork bar-b-cue, ribs, hot wings and salads - followed by cookies was offered for lunch.
I didn't take too many pictures - but here's one that shows the dealership and about half of the cars that showed up.
Mark - thanks for organizing it. What was the final count, about 10-12 I think.

Flemington meet
First I'd like to thank Mark and Wayne for a great day and the means to meet other RX 8 owners. It was a nice day. The Fleminton Mazda dealership couldn't have been nicer. A free check up and free lunch that was actually good. It was nice to meet everyone for the first time and see what some of you have done to your cars. For me, the next thing will be clear corners. Now I can't wait for the next meet. By the way, I stopped at pep boys and bought an ez-pass holder. The translucent velcro on a black car just wasn't working. haha
