There's going to be various cars going. I've spread the word in many forums and there seems to be interest from every one. Right now, we plan on having Acura TLs, TSXs, RSXs, Integras, Hondas, Scions, Subarus, 350Zs, Evos and hopefully some Gs. Right now, it really looks like it will be a good showing.

Everyone should try to get there as early as 11am so that we can get things started. Bring as much food as you want too. I plan on bringing grill stuff to clean out the grills they have there and charcoal.

Are you serious??? I'm assuming you're joking. It would probably be a solid 3 1/2-4 hour drive, but it could be worth it.

I just got off the VW forum and there seems to be interest growing there. Alot of I'll bring my friends, which is always a good sign :D

Well if the weather holds up I will definitly be there. I have a friend with a TSX and he will be going also. Plus since I used to own an S2000. I still have alot of buddies on that forum, so I posted it up on the New England s2000 forum. And there is some intrest. As for alot of people I talked to there is also a big Pats game against the steelers that day. So I will be leaving a little ealier to catch the game.

The game is at 4pm which works out perfectly. I'm going to get there right at 11am (should be nice out) and then head out around 2ish or a little later. That's why I want most people to get there early.

I'll have an update on which parking lot we'll be meeting at soon enough. I'll also have a map for you guys.

OK...

here we go.

You'll see on the map that I marked off 4 areas, but I've decided that Area 2 is the best choice and if things get bad, we can always move to Area 1 and people will be able to find us since we're right at the entrance to Area 2. Try to get there at 11am. The weather forecast got better. Only 25% chance of rain and that's in the late afternoon!

Area 1-

Great due to the fact that the majority of the lots inside the park can only hold about 25 cars. this area has two lots directly across from each other with grilling areas at each lot. Both lots combined will hold about 50-60 cars.

Area 2-
This is what you were asking about Will. This site is great it's large, but not enough for 75+ cars. I would say max 60 or 65 cars. The site is on the water and has sand next to it if you want to go lay in the sun for a bit. It also has two grills[not in the best shape] to BBQ on.

Awesome, thanks for the map. I'm going to try to get there for about 10:45, since some of my old Mazda Protege buddies are gonna be showing up at 10:30ish. I'll head for Area 2.

Great! Start grilling whenever you want. I'm going to bring some grill cleaning stuff, but if you guys have it, go for it. Bring whatever food and drinks you guys want too. This should be a good showing. I know the Z forum has 10+ cars showing up.

Nah, it was cool to see a rotary truck like that. You can say: "look, a rotary, even in a truck. This is some old school business right here!" The credit for the pics goes to my friend Chris, who was using my camera. I wish he took a shot of that Mazda 13B label. Well, maybe next time.

Great meet guys and I'm glad people could make it!

I'll be setting up another one in early Spring when the park reopens. So watch out, it'll be bigger and better!

Pics can be found here.

And we also made the Hopkinton News <scroll down>
