As for the fluids, Speed Racer brought online a week or so ago for anyone who indicated they wanted some for the tech day. Perhaps there will be some leftover or no shows?? Or to be sure - order some online at http://www.apexperformance.net/cart...st.asp?scat=289 or as Speed Racer said above.

Couple of last minute thoughts on tech day -
1) For those changing fluids of any type - just like your trash when hiking in the woods - you will need to bring containers to take your old fluids away - old plastic milk or soda bottles work well - with tight screw-on caps.
2) Although we'll generally have tools available - If you think you'll need any special tools or want them for your exclusive use during the day - make sure to bring your own, or at least ask if anyone will have it available, not nice if you can't do the work you intended for want of a tool.
3) Plenty of hardware and autoparts stores, Walmart, etc within a couple miles for those (normally available) last minute things you may forget to bring.
"...good preparation is 75% of any task done well..."

Do you guys have garage space for all who want to work on thier cars?

So, chances are, we'll be OK working outside with a psuedo-warm 55 degree temperature, but bring some warm/waterproof outerwear in case we get those 30% chance of showers!

Speed Racer and I had an idea for Tech Day Sunday. If each person put together a single page AUTO-biography for their window, it would let others know all about your car without you having to be right there, make a good conversation starter when you are there, and help personalize you and your RX-8 to all others attending.
I've attached a sample of what I have in mind. You should add your name as well for the sheet you actually bring.
For those of you without the tools to do this, if you forward either of us a list of your mods, plus a couple hi-rez pics of your car, we would be happy to make up a sheet for you and have it ready when you arrive on Sunday.
My email is comment@spin9k.com

I'm thinking that we can use these AUTO-biographies at the tech day and they can also be incorporated into the track video. Which should be pretty good with several cars setup with video cameras. Anyways, here is my take on it.

In your case I would write a small blurb about autoxing the car. Tell us what it is like to dodge a sea of cones. :D

Roy and I have things in hand for a great Sunday. The weather looks like it is even going to co-operate to some extent by clearing up some, with some sun.
I have also just invited the owner of Seacoast Mazda to our tech day event, he's not 100% sure if he can make it, but will try at least to stop by [ He's a black RX-8 'owner' BTW ]
However, in any event, he has graciously said all fluid can come to him, so please bring containers if you can, but no worry about taking them away, I'll just deliver them to their shop.
Anyone else have car pics and any writeup about themselves / their cars they want Roy or myself to do up and print out? Please send the info/pics as soon as possible. Thanks.

WOW! 7am... that's a bit on the early side for some of us night owls... but I'll be there... I'm assuming the same old places as always?

I'm not much of a morning person either and I'l be heading up to Spin9k's place on Saturday evening to help him finish up some projects. So I'll see you guys there.
As for caravanning from Manchester, I'd suggest meeting at my10ae's place at 7am. Then head out from there.

I think I might try to make it. :p
If its going to rain, even just a little, I'm going to hold off on doing my brake job. I still will take the 8 and possibly install my side strakes and front fog light strakes
SR: I love the auto-biography on my 8. Thanks!
