Yah it's a definate I am going to organize the caravan and we can decide where on the strip to go out that night when we get there Saturday, we can do dinner and drinks.
Expect an official thread RX8club.com and RX8tristateclub.com within about a week, I need a little time to get everything organized and I hope to see lots of RX8s at both shows especially the Rotorfest.

how big is this show? Are we talking like HIN or like 20 cars?
i have a female friend that wants to go to an import car show and the thought of maybe dragging her hot *** onto the beach in a bikini intrigues me...

I grew up in Wildwood. You won't catch me parking my 8 there after dark. If I did, I would be sure to park it in a secret little parking garage at the end of Magnolia Ave, almost under the boardwalk on the left (wink, wink). I'd also recommend staying in Cape May (much nicer area) only 4-5 mi from Wildwood on GS Parkway.
Wildwood is not what I consider a "family town" which is why I immediately moved to VA once I started my own. It is a lot of fun, though...

No offense but I knew I remember it being a little grimy at night we always went down there for prom weekends when I was in high school.
Thanks for the info on where to leave the rides although I don't know how easy that will be with needing to take a cab back to the strip but I'm sure we can manage especially if we all chip in for one or two cabs. I will look into places to stay in Cape May.

I'm giving wayne all of the info on this meet at Tunerfest and the run from there to Rotorfest tonight, there should be a thread about it by tomorrow or the next day, so I suggest signing up if you want to be in the car show at Tunerfest now. I'm not sure how many spots are still open...."TunerFest" want to let us know what room is still available, thanks.
Not looking too promising on hotels I haven't found one yet that isn't booked for that weekend. Any suggestions are appreciated...

We have some spots available left but you need to hurry up.As far as booking a room , I would try somewhere farther north like the out skirts of Atlantic City. That would be logical for all you gamblers out there..

so this is the show everyone is talking about
devious the drive from wildwood to rotorfest will be about 3hrs
egg harbor township to up by me is no joke.
but seriously wildwood is no belmar, Ive had my car broken into back in 98 when
down there for memorial weekend.
not to mention my boy got cracked in the face with a bottle on the boardwalk and had to be airlifted away.
and story after story but I was young then so going down there was fun at the time.but Ive since left wildwood and leave it for the little kids.
chrism make sure to lock up your rotor caps

umm that doesn't sound too great to me either. I knew I remember it for being grimy I don't care what anyone says that neighborhood isn't great. Don't know we maybe better off doing something that Saturday near the Rotorfest.
I'm definately not down for the little kid hoodlum crap. I wouldn't want the need to be brought to that immature level, I'm done with that stuff. That's why I was a bit skeptical about the whole thing in the begining.

I'm down to go to both although we may be better off driving up that same night and staying somewhere local to the Rotorfest instead of taking the chance of leaving our cars overnight in Wildwood. I know Mr. Tunerfest makes me feel ok about going down there, and no disrepect here but he is not going to pay for damaged or stolen vehicles so I'd rather go with my instinct.

Just an FYI, Today is the deadline to take advantage of the Pre-registration discount.

Do some research before you make such comments please, you make our show look bad by doing so, crime can happen anywhere..

Really though I got a room there when I was 17 in highschool when we went down for prom weekend and I remember how grimy it was.
I'd love to stay overnight, but everything is booked up anyways, I've called at least 10 places.
