Tunnel Run/Meet--Boston

The Big Dig project has created plenty of nice and long tunnels in Boston. I've driven through them all the time as I'm from Revere (just about 4-5 miles north of Boston). Of course, I always roll down my windows when going through a tunnel, just to hear the exhaust and engine/intake sound on my car. It's just sweet. And I keep thinking to myself that it would be even sweeter if there were a bunch of RX-8's driving through the tunnels at the same time. It would probably scare the bejesus out of other unsuspecting motorists, though (ask me how I know ). But once they see all these nice RX-8's driving by, it's gonna be all right.
Yes, there are tolls at some of these tunnels, but I'm a local here and I can lead a fun tunnel run with very minimal tolls ($1.5 per 4-5 miles of tunnel). I know which inbound and outbound tunnels to take to avoid some of the more expensive tolls. So how much it's gonna cost per car depends on how many runs you folks want to do.
We will also need a cameraman (or two, or three). And then we can post it on youtube to show other people how it should be done.
We can have dinner or a photoshoot or whatever after a run. Or a run/dinner/run. Whatever and whichever.
So, who's up for some fun?
If we can get at least 10 RX-8s/RX-7s, it's gonna be fun. If we can get 20 RX-8s/RX-7s, that's gonna be wicked fun! I think this outing should be for RX-8s and RX-7s only, especially those with aftermarket exhausts and/or CAIs. I like Mazdaspeed3's and Mazdaspeed6's a lot, but I'm afraid the rotary sound will be diluted.
We can do this on a Sat or Sun night. Just pick a date.
Note: if this meet will materialize, I want it to be a fun and safe event. Please, no knuckleheads speeding through the tunnels and putting everyone else at risk for car accidents. There are State Troopers going through these tunnels, which are also closely monitored via cameras.

A night cruise would work the best. That way there is no traffic at all, as long as their is no game like stated above. Also, if the OP can figure out how much money in tolls(total cost round trip), everyone could give him the money, let him lead, and just pay for everyone at once so we won't need to wait for everybody to pay individually at each toll. I would like to see the toll persons face when he goes "This is for me and the X RX8's behind me." I'm thinking we could start this around 7-9pm, I think night runs are more fun and my car doesnt have to be as clean lol. Who knows a good place that is open late to get something to eat?
Lets try to get this organized. What is the route? Are we stopping for food and where? Total cost for tolls? What day/date? and so forth.

Whoa...I guess there's some interest in this run after all...
Well, how about these dates:
-Sat, Aug 15
-Sun, Aug 16
-Sun, Aug 23
-Sat, Aug 29
These are pretty much the only days (or nights, rather) in August when I'm free. If you guys wanna do it in September, that's fine, too.
Let's pick a date or throw out some other dates and get this thing going.

Oh ****. Now I remember why the 15th sounded so familiar. I'm going camping on the Sacco River that weekend and maybe the weekend before as well. Damn it. Don't pick that date Depending on what time everyone is going and what the route is, I don't see why there can't be an eat and greet before/after the drive. Should be fun.
I vote Aug 23 or 29.

Yeah, it's gonna be a night run as traffic *should* be lighter than during the day.
I'm leaning towards either Aug 23 or Aug 29 as well.
We can hang out, take some nice pics, eat (Bertucci's, Texas Roadhouse, Kelly's Roast Beef, TGI Friday's, 99 Restaurant, etc.) drive, take more pics around Boston.
If anyone has any idea, please feel free to share with us. We'll then put together an event schedule so that whoever can't join us right from the start can meet up with us later.

Who is going to be aimlessly driving around this weekend?
