It is really hard to pick certain songs..

Really anything Punk, metal (as in Buckethead, Avenged Sevefold, yadda yadda), or a mix of the two (Chiodos, Fear Before the March of Flames)

thanks Josh - I could probably drum up another long list of great songs that tend to fall by the wayside Makes the drive that much more enjoyable. I love these threads because I see songs that I can add to my library...

to test out how the bose stereo system sounds like and to see what its capabilites are, the song "top back" by t.i. is a great track. even if you don't like hip hop, blast it to vol. 18-19 and listen to the bass. you will think you have subwoofers in the trunk. (if you d/l, try to d/l >160, or sound quality might be distorted). just my .02.

Yeah, the new album is good so far...but I like to give em time to fester in my brain a little bit before I pass judgment...

A few others:

KORN: Twisted Transistor

currently, I have Maximum the Hormone in my CD player. (edit to add: they do the opening theme for the show Death Note)
look it up on youtube if you're unfamiliar, which most of you are, I'm sure.

(if you don't feel like looking it up, it's a Japanese band, metal/punk/J-pop (strange combination, but it fits)

the boy usually doesn't have a say in what I play in my car as he plays whatever he wants in the STi.

WOW! Only one mention of Avenged Sevenfold??

They are the premiere top punk metal band right now, hands down! Every album is super strong and the standard in punk metal!! Powerful and amazingly talented instrumentalists, musicians and songwriters!!

Incredible fast/spirited driving music that puts you into serious thought. Great driving moments especially alone at night on heartland and country roads!

Oh yeah and they rock the "Down with the Libs!" message!! "Critical Acclaim" an awesome and soberingly accurate lyrical description! GREAT SONG!!

++1 for Avenged Sevenfold!!!

As far as warm nights city lights cruising there is no better song then "In The Air Tonight" Phil Collins version.

Summer weekend trips, especially days spent close to a lake or beach the two best cruising songs are "Boys of Summer" Don Henley and "Summertime" DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince(Will Smith)
