Generally, it's hard to get members to go to meets. Try looking at the "maryland people" thread. You'll see that many people back out at the end. Not trying to sound pessimistic in any way. Haha. You're going to have to try REAL hard to get people to go to meets though.

Check out the sticky message at the top of the ne forum page for the mazda club. It is an all mazda make club (mostly miatas), but they are a really good group based out of your areas. Being with the other Mazdas actually works out pretty good as the RX-8s are considered special by them.
