Cool Whats everyone's "Mod's before summer" plan?

Seems that everyone is buying parts lately here in the NE (myself included.)

Though it's still damn cold outside I'm guessing we're all gearing up to the next couple months of nice driving weather. So what is everyone's plan for Mod's you want done before the warm weather arrives?

Here's a list of what I have already at the house:
1: MS front
2: custom eyelids
3: rear appeance (rear bumper part only)
4: several LEDS
5: wires to rewire all 12volt acc's to run right off the battery instead of the outlets

Here's whats in the mail and shortly to come
1: MS sides
2: Full Tint
3: New lug nuts (I would love titanium to make my tit tip on my exhaust, but they are pretty damn expensive)
4: repaint a couple parts
5: clear bra the front.

So.... what does everyone else in the NE have planned?

getting my shine AB front and sides installed in a few weeks. will also be getting the evo-r carbon fiber lip spoiler and trying to figure out my rear bumper or rear guards so it flows better in back. also considering some springs after i see how low the AB hangs as i try to go up my driveway.

I hoping to get

a f8cking sponsor!

My mech has offered to pull the wheels, rotors and calipers when I switch to summer rubber. Pull it at the end of his workday Saturday (usually noon-ish) so I can have all night Sat and all of Sunday for the paint to dry. So my only plans are to touch up the calipers and paint the rotor hubs, thus nixing that horrible rusty look.

Other than that, nothing. No more 8 $$$$. (though I will probably squirrel away my change over the next month or 2 to get some b-pillar apps.

This may be a stupid question...but what exactly do you mean "refinish"? Does this just mean polish or something, or is it possible to actually remove moderate curb rash?

1. Racing Beat street flash (a stealthy fan switch mod than Mazsport's while also doing away with the EPA's constraints for our engines)
2. RB Exhaust (Rev8).. it's heavy and will not give me any more speed but to me has the best sound
3. Oh.. and most importantly.. thorough claybar'ing, swirl removal with my orbital buffer, and Zaino the heck out of my 8

yes. that's exactly what I meant.

they can fix curb rash and even bends but depends how bad the bend is.

I atempted to fix 2 already but they were just damaged too bad to save them. one with a bend on the inside and they found that the spokes were twisted so it was no safe to repair.
and the other one was a straight NO since you could see a crack right where the spoke meets the ring around the lip

now I gotta scrap them.

hope that helps

BTW, it was gonna cost me around $125 a piece to fix them

they look like NEW when they are done

i've got one more small touch up my sleeve but now that i'm getting the AB front it kind of throws a kink in that idea. nothing too exciting but we'll see if i have time to mount them before the palisades meet.

My Esmeril Turbo kit installed... if I ever get my int-x back from mazsport lol. It's been over 3 weeks now and Scott himself told me he'd ship it out by the end of last but when I called today, they said they're still working on it.

Got the ACT HDDS clutch for the turbo with lotek gauge pod with prosport gauges with greddy profec b boost controller.

I bought tein s tech lowering springs, so I'll have them installed when they arrive this week.

Got the side flares which I need to put on... are they screwed on? I don't know how they go on but maybe I'll ask the guy putting the turbo on for me to do it lol.

Want to get all this done by end of April... but it all depends on when i get my int-x for now... at least this gives charles or chris to come up with an ignition upgrade lol. If not, my tuner said he can put together one.

And oh yea... a car wash haha

(Once I get the turbo on... I'll have my polished AEM cai for sale if anyone locally wants it, you guys can have first dibs before i post it on the sale section)

My goal is to have everything in place by memorial day, that way if I choose to do a couple last minute Mods i'll have enough til the big Englishtown Mazda meet the beginning of July.

BTW I think the thing i'm looking forward to the most is Zaino'ing the car on a nice saturday afternoon. Nice weather, Met game on the radio, couple cold beers, and 4-5 hours of cleaning my car is the perfect day.
