Hey guys, sorry I have been below radar lately.
Glad to see some activity on this thread!
Welcome to the new posters!
I am still hoping to someday have a decent meet somewhere in the state.

Ti Grey 8 Spotted in CHARLESTON...
Someone that I have possibly seen before, actually.
King Center Parking lot behind tennis courts...
Yeah it's me in the Brilliant Black 8.
I'm a sorta regular there.

May seem random but...what is everyones take on single exit exhausts? I am looking at the corksport and raceroots...and a dual resonated mid pipe of course. Definitely going with Mazdamanics cobb ap as well very soon. Any thoughts or comments are greatly appreciated, and come on guys where we meeting !

Nothing but good things to say about the Cobb Accessport done by MazdaManiac.
We may have to wake the other WV drivers up by rocking this thread a few times.
In the meantime, we can show up at the next couple of car shows or events coming up. I missed Riverfest already, even though it got rained out last weekend.
I also have met at Coonskin & Shawnee before.
I always make the Capitol Corvette Car Show, BTW...

If lightness is your concern, the Corksport dual catback is about half the weight of the stock exhaust. You can really tell the difference during the installation. It is a little louder than stock, but not bad enough to be annoying on long drives. I've made a couple of 2500 mile round trips with it on the car.

Thank you ! It is not so much weight savings, but I also really like the single exit look and sound from the few i have heard. I have an aftermarket dual on mine now, along with a mid pipe that was already on the car upon purchasing. Attention I understand is something we try to stay away from...but being my first 8 i dont mind too much yet haha i really like the look and sound of the race roots single exit, with extendable tip. Has 3inch piping though and im not sure we need that much being NA but does make a pleasing tone to the ear. My current setup was already on the car, is very discolored and old. Looking to get into something shiny and new before i go with the MM cobb tune hopefully by the fall. Really enjoyed your wheels mike, ive always liked alot of the xxr styles of wheels, I want to stay with 18s as well though, and definitely need a set of springs to get rid of the stock lift kit im experiencing in the front end lol Already bought classic bronze paint, some primer and clear and going to take a day one weekend to transform the stock wheels for now and rid myself of the few curbed areas from the previous owner. I absolutely love the look of WWPs with bronze wheels. Btw mike, i need intake suggestions, i want to get rid of my gen 2 k&n hot air intake lol I looked at the racing beat intake duct that replaces the stock ducts to pull in more air, i wonder if that would be a good breather mod for now to keep the intake that is on the car until i decide to pull the trigger on a new one, definitely would love some opinions on intakes you all have...how they idle..any power gains?...etc...

Lots of choices out there if you have the $ to put out on Intakes, but my preference is the RB since it fits the engine bay tight and keeps it clean, plus it doesn't make a lotta noise either... (funny, I know)
You gain a couple HP's in the midrange, but it doesn't seem any more dramatic than a brand new Panel Filter, honestly. Our OE Intakes are pretty awesome, actually! (A little quieter, too)
I'll keep you posted on a meet- In the meantime, if you see the other 8 drivers in the area, ask them to get with us!

Spotted a ti grey r3 in St. Albans today ,older gentleman. Appeared to be stock ,I waved but I don't think he saw me. I'd love to run into more of them around here. I'm tryin to take a day and tape off my stock wheels and spray and clear them after primer and sanding but every attempt so far has been uneventful ,started raining once plus I can't find good tape to stick to the tire. Any suggestions ?
