Well I will be unsubscribing from this thread. I just never fell in love with the car. That combined with the new longer commute to work and the less than stellar fuel economy led me to get rid of the car.
Dont get me wrong it was a fun car, but it just didn't tickle that spot that I hoped it would. I would get another one if it were boosted prior to purchase, but the car just needs more stank...imo.
I wish all 8 owners the best...and drive it in the twistys that where it belongs

Gonna miss you. We really needed to meet up.
Before you trade out, consider this:
Contact Mazda of North America and explain your reasons for trading out.
They may offer you an amazing discount on something else, like maybe a Miata or MS3. I do miss having boost, but I also need a reliable DD.

I wish I had thought of contacting Mazda as you suggested. I came literally minutes away from gettting an 07 MS3. In the end I decided I didn't want to beat up any play car that much. I have put nearly 8K miles on the Fit in about 2/2.5 months. Had I got the speed3 it woulda wasted away on long...looooooooooooong commutes.
I don't plan to be out of the scene too long. I'll get either an 04 STi, or an 03 Evo or an 02 S4 again...or perhaps a 2000 Camaro shell to build up. I really miss my awd.
Hope I see you guys around. Maybe the guy who bought my car will be on here. I saw it running around Hagertown. I know it has to be mine as its the only yellow 8 I've seen in Western MD.

Mine is in the body shop (Raines) right now after taking out a guard rail in the ice storm on my way back from the Rolex 24.
I'll definitely hit you when the driving is good. Also good for a meet too. I'm in Cross Lanes, so we"re not far away at all!!
