OEM stereo head unit w/ climate controls
My Bose 6 cd changer (7 speaker) no longer works. I've been suffering without good music for too long now. The climate controls no longer work either; I need to replace this to pass state inspection.
I live in Richmond, VA and prefer to pick one up locally but, I am willing to drive up to one state away for a good deal on a working set-up. If you switched to an aftermarket set-up or, just happen to have an oem set-up just laying around collecting dust and taking up space... please, help a brother out.

Welcome.
A suggestion, for the climate controls, search. There is a DIY for fixing the *****. Should work unless something else is hosed.
For the CD Changer, I use a GROM adapter. It is a virtual CD change that runs off a memory stick. I think you get 99 songs per virtual CD.
And, again, welcome.

After some whirring and grinding noises became quite evident, disassembly of the hu shows a few worn gears and one of the parts that raises and lowers the cd trays is as stuck as a boot in mud. There are no visible signs of broken solder joints or cracks in the circuit board of the climate controls. None of the hacks or fixes worked to resolve these issues.
I did find a complete used hu and climate controls for a fair price online. I was going to delete this thread as soon as I figure out how.
