What's it worth?
Hi All - I have a 2006 RX8 with 34K miles, 6 speed, no sunroof, cloth seats, silver, very good condition. Can anybody make a guess at what it's worth? What have you had the best luck with - Craigslist, Vehix, etc.? Thanks for the help.

KBB (Kelley Blue Book) is a good site; I also find Edmunds.com really good. KBB usually has a bit bigger spread between trade-in and retail prices than Edmunds. Finally, I'd also check http://www.nadaguides.com/.
As someone shopping for a car, I'm looking at Craigslist, AutoTrader.com, and Cars.com a lot. I wish there were an aggregator site that collected all the listings into one place .

Thanks for the info. If anyone's interested in a nice blank slate (for mods), let me know. Otherwise, I will probably take it to a local dealer and have them sell it. Not much response on craigslist or vehix.

06 w/34K?
I'd say you're looking at $13,000 to $16,000.
Just did some quick research.
NADA came back w/$13,000. Edmunds came back at $15,700ish...
NADA is usually lower but very accurate.
KBB is OK, but sometimes too high.
(I used to settle total losses at my job... so glad to be out of that nightmare!)
If I were you, I wouldn't settle for less than $14,500.
GLWS.

Where on Craigslist did you post it? I did a quick search through north Jersey, central Jersey, and south Jersey, and didn't see your listing (nor any '06 RX-8s). I'd suggest posting for several weeks in order to see if there is any interest. Our cars are unique, and you'll have to be patient if you're going to find someone who's interested in an RX-8.
