show me yours and i'll show you mine

i have some minor imperfections in the paint but it's not from me. almost look like old sap stains. i'm giong to use my good old friend scratchout and see if it pulls them out. i have no doubt that it will look good when i'm done.

first try with pictures so bear with me.

this is the ROOF before...

this is the trunk after.....

the roof was WAY WAY worse than the trunk but the photos of the trunk didn't come out really good before so i deleted them. this is not a wax job, i am not trying to hide anything. i will give a few more angles later in the day and see if i can get a shot of the imerfections in the trunk. they are super hard to see and harder to get in a picture. as you can see you can't even see anything in the trunk surface. you have to get your face right down to it and at the right angle with the sun to even notice anything.

oh and the white spots that you do see on the trunk are not what i'm talking about it's just the way the sparkles were showing up in the picture. i'm not a photgrapher by any means. i took 10 pictures and you couldn't see the spots so i'll try with different light soon.

Nothing shows in the pictures. I'll use the digital camers when I get home as these were from my blackberry. My girlfriend had the camera in her purse at work. The spots are super hard to see but I'm super **** about my car so I know they are there.

local detail shop took a look at it today and said no problem they can make it look perfect. if and only if it comes out perfect will i feel comfortable trading with you so i'll let you know next week if it looks perfect.

bonus they said they can make my roof look 95% also. i'm actually psyched as the roof was horrible when i got the car.

BlackBerry maps puts me just under 4hrs but I go down to visit a friend in manhattan every couple of months and your pretty close. I should be going down in about a month, sooner if my internship ends soon. If all works out on tuesday at the detail shop I'll let you know.

I may have to make a weekend trip down with the woman sooner though. School sucks and is stressing me out.
