04 rx8 231 not starting even after replacement parts
Recently I noticed I had a hole in the exhaust which was blowing and when I parked the car soon after, it wouldn't start again. So I replaced the centre pipe and the back box with brand new replacements. But the car still wouldn't start. I've replaced the ht leads, coils, oil and air filters, and done an oil change today, and it still won't start. I made sure to fully charge the battery.
I put in a new uprated starter motor 2 years ago and new spark plugs 1.5 years ago. The cars been running fine up until now.
I've tried the deflood procedure but still no luck. I can smell a little bit of fuel coming through so I'm guessing the problem is not with the fuel pump? The other thing I can think of is compression loss. Is there anything else I should check before taking it to a mazda garage. Any help is very appreciated.

If it's compression, you'll be able to pull-start it (like pull it with another car). If it's the fuel pump, you won't be able to do that. Think you can give that a shot?
Also pull the plugs and clean/examine them. It could be too flooded for the deflood procedure to work, plus you'll know what's going on inside the engine from the spark plugs.

About 3k miles they look pretty fine to me.
I'm getting the AA to tow me today and I'll try to bump it that way. I'll update this reply after. Thanks for your help.
Update: Managed to bump start it with the AA truck after a few attempts. Plugs were flooded alot. It's running fine now. I didn't realise how easy it is to flood these cars :D
