So I have been taking apart the engine and came across a broken bolt inside the intake manifold. I'm gonna try to post a couple pictures. I really could use some help. I'm a full time mechanic but new to the rotary engines. I have like no money as I just spent 1k$ on all new gaskets and seals for the outside of the motor no internals. Please help. Thanks Can i buy that long shaft that had the ridges on it for the gears?
I would attempt to just get the broken bolt out and replace it. The bolt will just be a standard metric yellow zinc coated bolt. Follow JIS standard bolt sizes to figure it out.
Just remember if you take that rack apart, you need to line up the indicators.
The rack has an arrow etched into it. To one of the tabs on the orange/brown cog.
Then the other tab on the orange/brown cog to the indent on the black cog.
I think the motor on the exterior end may also have a position it wants.
Failure to do this will give you a headache once back in the car.
