04 Rx8 won't start up.
Hi guys I have a 2004 Rx8 and when It was working perfectly fine until one day I brought it home and parked it and then the next day it wouldn't start. I was researching on the threads around here and people were saying it was flooded. I tried a couple of methods like removing the fuel pump chip and cranking the engine but I still have no luck. I bought new spark plugs and spark plug wires and replaced those but the car still won't fire up. I'm not sure if I deflooded it the wrong way. I took out the 2 bottom spark plugs and tried to turn the car on and a lot of white smoke came out. I'm not sure if I'm supposed to keep cranking until there is no more white smoke coming out which means all the fuel that flooded the engine is burnt. I'm not sure how to get this issue fixed rather then having it towed to Mazda. On some of the threads people were saying to get a compression test for my engine but I don't know if flooding the engine 1 time can make it lose compression. It could also be my fuel pump I took it to autozone and they got a code for that. Not sure though. Thank you everyone

Few questions:
What led you to believe it was flooded?
What exactly was the code for the fuel pump?
Flooding normally doesn't happen without an underlying problem, though an issue with the fuel pump could probably cause that. The fuel pump not working could also cause the car to not start by not giving it fuel, but that's the exact opposite of flooding.
You normally shouldn't need to remove spark plugs to deflood an 8. Pushing the accelerator all the way down before cranking is generally the easiest way, but you can remove the fuse if you'd prefer.

While a compression test is almost never a bad idea, it's unlikely you'd have lost compression literally overnight. Of course it could be a longer term issue that finally came to a head.

I got code p2096 when I checked it. I tried multiple times to start up the car while holding the accelerator down and it just turns over but doesn't want to start that's why I thought maybe it was flooded. I'm replacing the fuel pump soon so hopefully this solves the issue. The car has a new battery also so I doubt that could be the problem. Thank you

Flooding it once won't make it lose compression, but losing compression can cause it to flood more easily. Flooding is usually a symptom something is not healthy, a healthy car should not flood. Also you said it drove fine the day before, so if it was warm when you turned it off, it's definitely not flooded.
When were your ignition coils last changed?
White smoke is not fuel, white (really white and sweet smelling) is coolant. Were there any green or white deposits on the old spark plugs?
P2096 can be a few different things, like a vacuum leak, but it could also be unrelated. It should still start even with that code.
Fuel pump is easy to check. If your new spark plugs have gas on them, you're getting fuel. I don't think it's the fuel pump.

It just randomly happened. The engine keeps turning over but there no signs of it going to start up. I'm not sure when the coils were last changed i am the 3rd owner. Gonna have to get it towed to the dealer

I suggest you consider any coil you did not change yourself one that came with the car.
If you changed plugs, coils are even easier to swap out. Might as well do wires while there then see what you have.
Mine was a bit dodgy when I got it, but new plugs, coils and wires turned it into something started instantly, I could start, turn off and restart half a dozen times without flooding. But once coils go, the best plug in the world will not help.
