05 RX8 - AC Leak from connector on high side
Hey guys!
Long time lurker here. I really appreciate all of the users on this forum. I bought a non-running RX-8 and have been able to get it up and running great using just the posts on this forum.
Anyways, summer is here and I'd like to get my AC issue resolved. I bought a cheap can just to see if it would work and the low side pressure was reading very low (< 5 psi on a hot day). I filled it up to a little under 40 PSI and there was a hiss coming from the connector just under the high side port.
I notice that one of the clips is missing on this connector so it isn't staying fully seated and can be pulled up with no resistance. Anybody know what this connector is called and if it can be ordered anywhere?
Thanks!
Edit - Looks like this would be a problem with the AC Switch leaking, and not the actual connector? Can anyone confirm?
