2004 6 speed stutters in high rpm
Hi I’ve been slowly tinkering with this issue over the years (school and other things have taken priority but can’t seem to get it fixed.
I can accelerate past the stutter if I ease in and out of the throttle it will rev past 6k but every time I’ve flushed carbon out I’ve pulled the ssv and check it will be dirty but even after cleaning it up it still does it. I’ve tried the sea foam trick and it seemed to work a bit but still does it.
I’ve changed the ignition coils, wires, and plugs. Cleaned the mass flow, done just about every thing I can think of and the forums say but it still does it. I really want to avoid a rebuild at the moment cause I’ve still never been able to actually take this car out and drive it. If I can fix the rpm issue and I end up blowing it up driving it I’m fine with that, but I’ve never been able to actually drive it since I bought it. Any advice is welcomed. Thank you guys
