2004 RX-8 / O2 Sensor

Hi everyone quick question I have to put a new o2 sensor i have to to put the originals or can I put a replacement

Well I would imagine a replacement should work just fine. Where is the O2 sensor needed?

You might be able to find the right sensors in those two websites, I like atkins rotary because they tend to sell cheaper OEM parts then what the nearby dealership offers in my area.

I also threw amazon in because a ton of people with an 04 RX8 bought and reviewed it, said it fit and worked.

Is it the front O2 or the rear? The front is a wideband, the rear isnt. You dont need to get it from Mazda but make sure you are buying the correct part of each location.

I agree that the oem sensor will be the best. However, I believe that Nipping Denso is the original manufacturer of the oxygen sensors. If you can find a Denso brand sensor on Amazon as suggested or at a local parts store, I would go for that one to save a few bucks over and original Mazda labeled sensor.
