2004 Rx8 limp mode
My car runs fine for a day or 2 then one day limp mode. Seems like when it's 75 and sunny it runs great and if it's in the 40s and damp out it doesn't want to go out of limp mode. Starts up fine cold or hot and runs for about 10 seconds then enters limp mode I replaced almost everything on this car, over 10k in upgrades and new parts I also have the SOHN adapter. Only thing I have replaced is the OMP. Car has 77k miles on motor new Apex seals and rebuild around 55k. Not sure how to keep it out if limp mode

Are there any OBD codes? Is the check engine light on?
What do you mean by "limp mode"? What happens exactly?
Actual limp mode is caused either by the OMP and/or its circuit, or by the coolant temp sensor circuit. Coolant temp sensor problems are extreeeeemly rare, so I would go over your work on the OMP and make sure the wiring isn't damaged and the OMP is properly positioned (when you install it after removing, it needs to be in a specific position to work properly.. you can search for exact procedure).
Sensitivity to damp cold weather tells me perhaps there's condensation in the wire connector to it.

You're gonna want to check the codes, so the car can tell you what's wrong. Usually you don't need to replace the OMP, just make sure it's instlled correctly and water hasn't gotten in. Maybe a bolt came loose since your Sohn install. I would just check it over before spending money.
When you installed the Sohn did you disconnect the electrical drive/sensor from the OMP body or move the whole thing as a unit? Usually problems start when someone separates those two parts, but it's not necessary to do so.

I'm not sure what is what on the OMP I watched a video on YouTube from Driven by madness, he has a Sohn adapter installed video and I got that same exact one and followed those steps exactly. It's just wierd to me how soon as it's up over 70 and sunny out it's fine but soon as it get cold. It won't Rev up past 5k and won't go no faster than maybe 25ish. I can't check codes because I can't get it to a garage with a reader. It always has 1000s of dollars I'm upgrades so it needs tuned and I did cat delete with the dual resonator mid pipe it has a HKS legamax catback exhaust and I did the cat heater air pump delete. AEM cold air intake. The list goes on and on so I'm assuming it's going to throw a bunch of codes if I'm correct. I really don't know but I do appreciate you taking time to help
