Hi, I'm a first time RX 8 owner... I bought two for project cars. I'm being told by the Mazda dealership i need this replaced and they said they no longer make this part and after putting in some work at their shop, they are just now finding this "show stopper." I cannot find this on google. Can someone help with where to find this? The dealer said the vin number is dependent and that not just any part would work. it also needed part number fe66-67-030c an instrument panel harness. I found that online.

They look completely burnt out and not corroded. That really sucks as I have no idea what that part is by looking. They never gave you a part number? Where does that connect to on the car?

Lol... looks more like corrosion to me.... copper goes blue like that. Burnt out is black...
Looks pretty black to me. Can't tell if the blue on the plastic part is indeed corrosion or not. But there is a lot of black in the middle of the units. It could also be corrosion but it's hard to tell for sure with those pictures. They definitely look burnt out though at least.
