2004 w/Bose. Desperate need of color codes. {Plus some oddities}
Hello All:
New too this forum. Used the search feature, and found firebirddude's sticky. And ALL posts having a connection with my search phrase.
I took my drivers door panel off, here a Focal 6.5" midrange was already installed. Im installing a 4 channel amp, with new 6x9's in the back.
I also purchased a nice set of 6.5" component speakers I want to install up front. Heres my question... which wires do I need too hook-up too the cross over network? (Source/6.5Mid/Tweeter)?? you know.. theres 6 connections on the crossover networks.. 1set as input, 1 set to midrange, 1 set to tweeter.
Im 100% By-Passing the rear Bose amp, and when I took the door panel off, I removed... something very odd, that I think was the Bose amp. But the stock 9" woofer operates @ .5 ohm, and here an aftermarket 6.5 midrange had already been installed by the previous owner.
From what ive read, the L/F midrange gets signal from Red+/White- , but theres (2) red&White wires and I tried each set separately.. no sound. Im tapping into the harness in the trunk(the 24 pin harness, that used to plug into the bose amp) to send the aftermarket amp's signal to the L/F, so I really want to know which wires in then door I hook up to the 6.5" im trying to install.
I don't plan on using the Bose amp on the back deck, or each door (which im not certain if that's what I pulled from the drivers door. Could it have been an impedance adapter so the .5 ohm signal get's converted to 4ohm??? ;-/
Sorry for composing a novel, but I just finished spending all day in the garage...
Any advice is greatly appreciated!!!

No, that link doesn't really help. I guess what im asking is.... which wires (color codes) are for the 9" woofer? KIM, they have already been replaced. I just need the color codes for LF + , - and RF +, - that I should run to my cross-over network SOURCE connector?
I have been reading writeups/tips/tricks via this site for days, and I cannot establish a solid article pinning the front door speaker + and -
Thank You for your reply...
