a flashing cel means misfire. most here change all ignition parts together. at best they are only good for about 30k but will weaken over time before they fail.

No flashing cel no check engine. Thats the weird part. Bad coil or wire would throw a cel on.

You said you have had it 10 years. What’s the mileage?
is that 123k? Best bet is a compression test.
I don’t like how that sounded when you started it.

It starts better then mine (when hot) and my engine only has 3500 km on it. Did you try a starter?

battery is at 100%
starter is at 100%
both have been tested

just weird how it went out all at once. I must have done something wrong. Maybe the relays or fuses???

You can buy a rotary specific tester and do it yourself most definitely. Dealership probably charge at least 100 bucks to do it.

edit: it looks like it would be cheaper to go to dealership. Never thought I would write or utter those words.

I just say dealer unless you have a rotary shop around you? They’re rare but are out there. Nothing a google search couldn’t solve.

seems like the best route to go. If you do need help there is a good one nearby.

I highly recommend Rotary Power USA in Gardena. I’m in the Desert but I drove down to meet those guys. Jeff is a great guy and has been doing it for many years. Last time I was there he had an FD from Utah there. People go far for this guy. He mostly only messes with 7’s but if you really need help he will help.
