2005 RX-8 Cranking But Not Starting
My car had been shutting off while driving randomly it seemed so I did the seafoam cleaning through the vacuum tubes and the car was working better. On the way to a halloween party a couple nights ago, it shut off and i had to pull over at wait about 30 minutes and then it finally started again. After the party I took a friend home and then came back to my house and the car didn't shut off or anything. Yesterday evening I went out to start the car and it would just crank over and over and never start. Today it's still doing the same thing, any ideas? I'm at a loss here.

there's a few things to start with. check teh spark from all 4 plugs. The first suggestion is ignition components. There is a special HEI ignition tester look up test your ls2 yukon coils to find the thread. it's probably the best way to test coils and wires.
Then pull your spark plugs and check to see if the're wet/fouled. If they are it's likely flooded. that normally happens from a weak/failing ignition system.
If you get it running get a rotary specific compression test. There's a strong chance if you are flooding and having a hard time with hot starts then your compression is failing.
