2005 rx8 bogging in 1st gear when cold
My 2005 rx8 automatic has about 100,000 miles on it. I bought it when it had about 70,000. Just recently it started taking longer to crank and boggin out when I take off. When it warms up it runs fine and has good power. I changed the plugs and wires and it helped with power but I still have the same problems. I got a code about a week ago about a intake port on dock 1 being stuck open, but I ran a couple cans of sea foam though it and ran it hard and the light went off. Can some one tell me what else I need to do to fix these problems?

Your not revving it too high when its still warming up are you? We need more information about your problems to help you diagnose what's wrong. Explain in detail please.
Bogging could be your fuel sock is dirty.
Hard start could be colder weather and/or low compression.
Weak starter may be to blame.

If you have +30k on your coils, you should change them, and inspect your cat, if you have one.
Good luck.

"Flooding" usually means the engine is being "flooded" with unburned fuel. Bad coils will not fire the plugs, fuel is not burned in the housing, dumped into the exhaust and igniting in the cat, possibly clogging it, and damaging your engine.
It is why it's recommended coils be changed every
30 k.
It may not be causing your problem, but it is one possibility that could be causing it, and should be done anyway if it is past 30k.
Tuneup, clean MAF & ESS, & 30 brake stomp might be a good place to start.

When you do, it might be a good idea to pull your plugs & inspect them to see if they're fouled, & check the wires are snapped on tight.
You still might want to check your cat.
