Hey i'm hoping someone can help me, the previous owner got in a slight fender bender and one of the chrome lines had to be replaced. They ordered the part but the black one came in so they put it on and painted the other chrome one black. I just ordered two new chrome ones and want to get the old ones off and the new ones on. Do they just pop off with force or does the whole front end need to be taken apart by a dealer?
The front bumper is really easy to remove, 10 to 20 minutes, 4 clips and 1 screw (believe the are 8mm) per side inside wheel well, I believe 10 screws also 8mm under the bumper, 4 clips top plastic, cover and then 4 screws top 10 mm with 2 more clips. Once you remove all, carefully pull on the sides to un-clip the bumper, careful not to break the bumper tabs, and slowly pull the bumper fwd. Remember to unplug your fog lights at this time, one plug per side. Install in the reverse order, line up the bumper carefully as not to break the side tabs and to properly align the bottom holes for the crews (is plastic so it flexes).
