afk 4 years
it's been a while since i've posted on the forums... about 4 years. I've been by a few times for some trouble shooting and general browsing, but getting back into the RX8.
I have a 2005 velocity red, bought new with 6 miles on it. This month is its 10th birthday from when it was built (built 4/2005). now has approx 97K miles.
The car has been sitting mostly for the past few years, but still looks good.
Recently dipped the wheels.
Anyway, just saying hi and reintroducing myself

it's actually a lot more durable than i expected. After 10 yrs of the stock wheels i felt a little change was needed. good thing about it is temporary.
I kinda like it... it's growing on me. not sure if i'll commit or peel it off. if i do commit i'll get them power coated. i suppose i can paint them myself, but after all the materials, time, and hassle it'd prob be worth it to just have someone else do it.
