Aftermarket Parts Fitments - Got Questions

Okay I got a few questions, on aftermarket parts from flea-bay and want to see if anyone has used these specific ones.

For the sake of not posting ebay links I have removed all the link up to the .com portion to break them and simple screen shot the items I was talking about.

Not trying to break any forum rules here, but mods correct me if I am still doing something wrong I just want to make sure we are all talking about the same specific items

First question ...Does this oil cooler below work, and are there (2) of these on the 2004 RX8 GT or just one?, I literally just bought the car this week so I have not had a chance to stick my head under yet, so please forgive me here for the lack of knowledge here.

Any ways here's the oil cooler

com/itm/271841621423

Please let me know if you have used it or know of one that works in its similar price range.

Next, is this exhaust a straight bolt on after the cat (which I am assuming is in the mid pipe) I have a welder and a sawzaw and I am not scared to use either...lol I am just trying to figure out what I am getting into work wise prior to ordering.

Here is the exhaust

I am sure some guys have ordered this, and am just looking into the logisitics of install and if the more open muffler flagged and codes after install or if it ran (at least per the system) as stock.

Thanks in advance and I am sure I will have more questions to follow.

Also if I go the non-turbo route this is the other oil cooler I was looking at.

Same as before, anyone on here used this one?

Stock rx8 comes with 2 oil coolers, located right behind each fog lamps.
If you arer not boosted then stock coolers are more than sufficient.

In all honesty, I have never tried ebay parts for my rx8 after reading a lot of crap on the forum.
Fitment is mostly crappy, quality is crappy and parts don't last due to the nature of rotary, our engines produce alot more heat than piston engines. Resulting in ebay mufflers, cats and pipes to melt or break and etc.

Fitment may be hit n miss, what I know from reading other posts is, that ebay exhaust parts tend to break loose after some time, drone like crazy, and don't fit right.

you are better off just removing the cat and going with a mid pipe that will yield a more aggressive sound yet tamed, and better power gains. Ebay exhausts, intakes and etc will not yield any extra hp but they may definitely cause you to loose power.

Instead of wasting your money on these parts my honest suggestion would be to inspect your ignition components and if you can have them replaced with BHR Ignition kit, inspect your CAT, and get a compression TEst done.

Cheers,
