Audio Question

Hey guys. I have an audio question. I have a SII GT, which means it has the Bose system in it. Has anyone tried to take it all out? Like the amps, wiring, speakers, and headunit? Most if not all of the threads I have read on SII audio projects involve hooking amps, speakers, and subs in with the Bose system. I just want to make sure taking it all out wont cause any electrical issues.

Here is what I am planning on putting in:
JVC KW-V52BT 7" touch screen headunit
9" to 6.5" speaker bracket for front
Possibly 6x9 to 6.5 speaker bracket for rear
6.5" component speakers in front (haven't decided what yet, several in mind)
either a 6x9 coax or 6.5" component in rear
Possibly replace the center with a 3-4" coax center speaker
2 Bazooka 10" subs (depending on space)
3 Kenwood amps to drive front, rear, and subs.
Depending on what my final power draw will be, I might through a cap on there.

I plan on getting the Metra dash kit and wiring harnesses too.

Any insights would be welcome.

You can do it, and it isn't too difficult except for the wiring. I remember a thread from a while back in which an owner removed the wiring, and it took hours and hours of sorting through the looms to get all of it.

Mine is one of those threads where I changed speakers and added a sub, but the more I think about it, the more I am inclined to perform a complete Bose-ectomy too.

I read through your entire thread. There was some really interesting stuff in it. And I kept thinking I would just be easier to gut it and not deal with the weird amps and difficult drivers. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't some odd electrical connection that would mess something up in the car, like the windows or something.
