Audio Setup Help (and yes I've read the other threads!)

Hello everyone great site.

OK so after spending most of the day reading most on the threads on the issue of where to tap into a signal to drive additional amp/s and audio set up etc, I am probably more confused and have more questions then when i first started reading all the threads.

Given my slightly different requirements and desired set up I desperately need some help as I am not able to come to a conclusion on what to do!

Here are my questions / concerns

I'll start with the audio equipment I intend to use.

- Replace existing rear 6x9 with some Infinity Reference 9613i 3-Way or similar
- Got a nice sounding sub with built in amp. On the amp is a 180 degree phase switch (please explain this to me) and 2 stereo RCA inputs with another 2 stereo RCA pass through outputs.
- I Also have a new 2 Channel (180 RMS) amp knocking around with the following :
*2 stereo RCA inputs and stereo output with built in crossover for HI/LO and FULL pass.
*Line level in adjustment for RCA in range of 200mv to 6v (might come in handy me thinks if using clean pre amp out of HU!)

OK here is my dilemma and questions I would love to have answered please.

1) How many channels are the pre amp connections from the BOSE HU?
2) Should I make use of my spare amp to power the new 3 WAY rear infinity speakers?
3) If not then will the BOSE amp send an adequate enough mid/high signal to power 3 WAY rears as from my understanding the output is a modified one to power the factory ONE WAY rear speakers and where should I tap to get a line in for my sub that does not have line level adjustment?
4) What speakers does the rear BOSE amp power and do I still need it connected if I power the rear speakers with my spare amp? (I am not sure I want 3 subs on the go you see!)
5)Any way to still make use of the Autopilot function if I use the BOSE amp to power the new rear speakers and don't use my spare amp?

Phew I think thats it, thanks.
