Bad Compression Test a Deal Breaker?
I purchased a 2011 RX-8 with 16k miles 2 days ago, and have 3 days to take it back. I did not get a compression test done, but the engine core warranty has about 5 years and 4 months left, and power train has 2 years 4 months. Everything feels very solid, but now I'm wondering if I should get a compression test done, and if bad results would be a deal breaker? Keep in mind, I'm 100% fine with the cost of replacing the engine under warranty.

I wouldn't be concerned with a compression test for that low mileage on a Series2. I'd probably do one anyway just to get the information of where I bought it at, but I wouldn't have any concern about having it come up bad.
