battery hooks on battery brackets

battery hooks on battery brackets

I am going crazy trying to install the battery hooks on the battery bracket for my RX8. Any help would be appreciated, I know there is a simple "trick" to aligning and mounting.

loosen the bolts on the hooks almost all the way, hold the bar in place over the batt, spin the hooks into place while holding tension on the bar and tighten the bolts. im kinda shocked theres a thread about this

If you can't work this out on your own then you should probably not be working on your car yourself. It's a pretty basic setup.

Left rod hook faces forward, right rod hook faces the rear.
