Bleeding slave cylinder
I replaced my slave cylinder and now need to bleed it. My question is, do i have to bleed the master cylinder as I took off the line for it? Do i also have to bleed the brakes? I know it’s all on the same system, but I want to play it safe yk.

Good luck bro.
That **** kicked my butt.
I filled up a whole pressure bleeder reservoir with fluid.
I ended up paying my shop to finish it.
People do it all the time, I just couldn't get it right for some reason.

I just replaced both the master and slave cylinders along with the rubber flexible hose with a stainless one. From what I observed the reservoir has a 1 way valve since no fluid drained out when I took the hardline out (my hastily applied plug was not required). I used a vacuum bleeder on the slave cylinder bleed valve and pulled about 2 reservoir refills through the cylinders/lines. Worked fine and only took a week for my hand to heal from cramming into those tiny spaces on top of the transmission.
