bought my first 8

Well ive been lurking the fourm here for awhile now and finaly made an accout.
I bought a 2004 gt rx8 with 52k. Winner blue black leather interior
It also already had installed a mazdaspeed front bumper, aem cai, and a racing beat exhaust... Now on the bad side of things..

Flooded it for the first time a few days ago and now it doesnt seem to run the same... No power misfire thru rpm range and dies at idle.

What you read the new owner's thread? specifically the section on ignition health and the section on flooding? Have you read and done the steps in the misfire thread?

Both are linked in my signature.

read all of the threads im not new to cars just new to the rotary.. When I bought the car i installed n OEM plugs and NGK wire set. Coils are still the ones in the car from my purchase.

I've narrowed my problem down to mis on rotor 1, and bank1 variable intake runner stuck open (P2004) reading numours threads on these intake valves for awhile but doesn't seem to expain why I have no power(besides the misfire) and the car wont idle.. (mybe P2004?)

The misfire and stuck intake valve DOES explain it. 30,000 mile coils are dyno proven to have lost nearly 30whp, and a stuck intake valve will further cripple airflow.

Replace your coils, clean/unstick the valve.

well i replaced the coils and with no change.. did a compression test with a standard compression tester and came up with 0PSI in rotor1 and 95PSI in rotor2 so its safe to say my engine is done...

I understand that there is a engine recall/warrenttee but im pretty sure even tho i only have 52k on the car since its a 04 im out of the warrenttee period.. am i correct?

you can't do a proper compression test with a standard tester. You need a Mazda dealer or rotary wrench with a proper rotary engine compression tester, 2 sets of 3 numbers (corresponding to each rotor face). Get that done and be sure to get a printout with the rpm it was tested at, then look at the chart posted by RIWWP to see if your engine is failing.
