Breaking in the clutch
I'm about 50 miles in on my new clutch (OEM Exedy) break in period, but we all know that RX8 aren't made to be "babied" and right now I'm shifting at 3000-4000 RPM. With that being said, shouldn't it be ok to redline it, let it rev down then shift? As long as I don't press the clutch the clutch at high revs right?

Per Exedy:
Break in period should be that of 500 miles of city type driving, double the break in period for highway driving. No aggressive driving. No hole shots or drag launches. Gear changes should be made at 4,000 RPM or less. No speed shifting.

So I can drive at high rpm as long as I shift at 4000 rpm?

I agree with all but no need to red line. Do a search on "rx8 redline a day" redlining is good for the car in moderation but your brake in time will not hurt the car to baby it for this amount of time do as the above poster said be easy on the clutch for the recommended time or you will see failure fast.
