Idk for sure, but I wouldn't expect much.
Did you have personal dealings with them?
Personally, I wouldn't have anything to do with anyone who relies on Facebook for business.

They've been discussed here in the past in case you didn't know.

I see them get a lot of good reviews from the Facebook groups but I didn't have a great experience to be honest.

I bought stainless oil cooler lines and premix. Never got shipping confirmation. Emailed, no reply Messaged Justin TREX on Facebook and had a hard time getting responses. He told me it shipped a few times but it didn't. Took about 2 months after my purchase to finally ship. He did say at the time he was having issues with shop staff and personal life so I kept my comments to myself at **** happens. But that was months ago, and if it's still ongoing then that's just poor business.

At the end of the day I did get my parts but my car is away for winter so I will install these in the spring.. Can't speak to their quality just yet.

Best bet is to try and get Justin on Facebook I think

I've ordered premix and a few other things. Not exactly prompt shipment, but pleasant enough to deal with and I wasn't in a rush. Like KOPS said I'm not one to start complaining about online buying experiences without a good reason, and I think this is probably a sideline for the guy, not his day job.

I'm bumping this for recent reports that folks on Facebook have been saying people have been paying thousands of dollars to this guy and not getting what they paid for.
I'm not on Facebook, this is second hand info, but if anyone is thinking of using them, beware.

This is correct. Apparently its been on-going since late March, early June for anything that wouldn't be a drop-ship item. Engine builds, some body panels, etc. Not looking good. And a real shame, I've dealt with him a few times and while he took a while to ship my air suspension, it arrived as described.

Buyer beware, I would currently avoid his shop until some light is shone on it.

I would like to make a single comment and state that there are TWO T-Rex companies.... and this issue seems to be isolated to the one owned and operated by Justin. I have not directly purchased from either company so I cannot speak for my experiences with either one. Just worth noting because I feel like this bad PR shouldn't reflect on the business owned and operated by the not-at-fault gentlemen.

I took some time to read the posts on Facebook in the PurelyRX8 group and based on the number of customers waiting on parts who cannot even get a response from by Justin at T-Rex, I would NOT suggest anyone buy from this company

Buyers Beware: Do not do business with Justin at T-Rex performance

I recently bought a power steering rack and two sets of side marker lights. It took months before he ever shipped them to Miami for me but he did. The power steering rack and other parts worked perfectly as described. I was only disappointed by how long it took. He's not a scammer, but he definitely seems behind on his work.

I'll add to this with my experience back in May after I first purchased my RX-8. I bought their RX-8 Idemitsu 10w30 Oil change kit for about $90. It came with a K&N gold filter (my preferred filter), 5 quarts of 10w30 Idemitsu Rotary Racing Oil, and Mazda OEM oil plug washers which seemed like a good deal at the time. I ordered it on May 9th 2021, and was told it would be arriving by the 17th which was perfect because I was driving to phoenix from CTX on the 18th and wanted fresh oil. On the 16th I called and emailed about the arrival date and was assured it would be arriving on time. Considering that the business lists itself out of Dallas, 2 hours north of me, I figured he was not lying. After not receiving it on the date, it was impossible to get a hold of the business anymore and i began the refund process about 2 weeks later. On my last trip back from Phoenix in late July, I received a beat to hell package from T-REX Performance containing all the stuff I had ordered except the washers. This package was seriously messed up and the oil filter box had been broken and flattened in the packaging. Going from 8 day shipping to 2 month shipping was definitely not the way to get my continued business. I would warn against using them in the future unless you are ordering months in advance.

Dude is definitely a scammer. I’ve got a complete engine spent over 5k streetported with 2mm goopy apex seals & all new oem seals with refurbished housings. Engine didn’t last 5 months. I believe it’s my oil seal I ask him about it and he tells me “Wonder if a oil control ring gasket got messed up during assembly” on his website it says 24 month warranty but wants to charge me 1,800. Time to get my lawyer involved I regret every second of dealing with this dude I really should of went with elite

Dude that definitely sucks. For a while he seemed to have nothing but positive reviews so I don't blame you for going with him... Hope it works out for you

Well, was my own personal experience. I remember when I spoke with him on the phone he said he was working on about 10 engines and was overworked. That should have been my first red flag but I really needed a power steering rack. He did come through for me and while the rack works great, there was no real reason to send it to me 2 full months after I paid him for it. I won't be doing any more business with him either.

It's too bad he operates this way. It isn't a huge market, but clearly there is enough demand to generate a decent amount of business for a small outfit. If it's a matter of having too much work, don't take the next order. If it's about finances, increase your prices. If the complaints here were along the lines of "he does great work, delivers when promised, but gee he's expensive" I think most people would understand, have to charge enough money to make money. But not delivering product after receiving payment for it in advance is simply a bad way to run a business.
