Buzzer that's corelated with the engines RPM?

So I hear some kind of buzzer, which comes from the passenger's side of the dashboard. It's directly related to the engine RPM.

So is this some kind of buzzer so I can hear how much RPM my engine is running, or is there something wrong? It sounds like a very tiny turbine in a high-pitched tone.

I'll see if I can make a video tomorrow.

it's let you know you should shift to the next gear, as you are approaching the upper RPM limit.

^^ not the rev limiter

He's probably talking about coolant induced MIAC

It's either MIAC or just the transmission. Mine sounds abit like a turbine especially when engine braking, the transmissions in these cars are super noisy.

It will be easier to tell with a video.

I hear it in all the RPM's, and it sounds as if it comes from the glovebox, which indicates a MIAC. But it sounds rather like a turbine or a very small fan running at ridiculously high rpm's. It reminds me of something between a turbine and a dentist drill.

I will get the video tomorrow.

It could also be something Grounding out. Many call it alternator whine.
