A/C and Heating
My ac hasn't been working sometimes and my heating for the last week was blowing cold air when the car was warm although it fixed it's self now does anyone know what might be wrong? Thanks

I HATE SPEEDBUMPS!
I'm having the same issue as well. When i turn on my air con, the dial is all the way to the left, but its blowing warm air...weird. So, i was playing with the dial and i put the dial in the middle and boom, its blowing cold air again...yeahh. Anyway, i just leave the dial in the middle whenever i turn on the air con, specially now its very hot.
I'm not sure why its doing this, but at least my air con is working again. I want to know why its doing this too...

Yea mine does the same thing im not sure if it has to do with the coolant or the actual **** it's self but recently the air conditioning doesn't even work on hot days.

Other than that, I don't know... if your refrigerant is actually low then there is probably a leak somewhere and that could be tricky to find.
To fix that and find the leak you would need a set of gauges and a refrigerant recycling machine to evacuate the refrigerant and recharge, and some special dye for a black light to find the leak
BUT I would never recommend doing A/C work without professional experience. Shoot too much refrigerant through the system and that can be very fatal if the lines blow, seriously those things can get up to 400+psi
I hate those can stuff you buy from the store too... it is hardly ever accurate how much pounds of refrigerant you actually shoot in and can lead to undercharging or overcharging of the system, but hey sometimes it works for people that just want cold air XD
Always best to get a shop with a refrigerant machine to do diagnostic work if it is actually a refrigerant problem.

Some customers may complain of lack of AC cooling from the vents. This may be caused by the intake air selector (recirculate / fresh) in the "FRESH" mode. Cooling the interior of the vehicle may take longer if the air intake selector is in the "FRESH" mode. Maximum cooling is achieved when the intake air selector mode is in the "RECIRC" position. The AC amplifier can be programmed to automatically default to "RECIRC" mode when the following conditions are met:
1. Ambient air temperature is 68 deg. F or higher.
2. HVAC control mode is in "FACE" mode.
3. HVAC temperature is in maximum cool setting. Customers with this concern should have their vehicle repaired using the repair procedure. NOTE: Vehicles produced before 9/11/2003 are not programmable and should have the AC amp replaced per Service Bulletin # 07-002/04

2. Verify ignition switch is in OFF position.
3. Press and hold the front defrost and air intake selector buttons simultaneously.
4. Turn the ignition key to the "ACC" position for 3 seconds. (Continue to hold the buttons down from step #3.)
5. Turn the ignition key to the "ON" position for 3 seconds. (Continue to hold the buttons down from step #4.)
6. Successful programming will be confirmed by the rear defrost indicator light flashing 3 times. NOTE: If vehicle's battery dies or cables are removed, the programming will not be retained and must be performed again.
