Clutch Bracket Replaced - What is this part?
Long time lurker, first time poster.
I've owned a 05 RX8 for about 5 years now. My clutch pedal bracket finally broke and I replaced it with a new assembly that had all the switches.
The install was easy enough but I have one left over part, a plastic cap (grommet) that I am not sure what to do with. When I removed the old assembly, nothing like this was on it or around the footwell.
I've enclosed a picture of the assembly. It's the small black piece to the right of the assembly.
