cold air intake... sort of
I bought an rx8 with a cold air intake from weapon r, but the filter is still in the engine bay. What is the best way to get the filter out in front of the radiator? I'm assuming some flexible pipe through where the oem air inlet is but I'm really confused as to why you would do a cold air intake and leave the filter in the engine bay.

You should have done your research.

The Weapon R is the worst "brand name" intake you can buy, and it's only possible to get worse from generic non-branded ebay intakes. It is prone to cause CELs, definitely causes rough driving and is proven to cause power loss.

Selling a "cold air intake" when the air pickup point is in the engine bay is what we like to refer to as "intentionally misrepresenting your product" (i.e, LYING)

Probably leave it installed until you can find an intake to replace it. Even a stock intake is better. You will have to deal with the problems of it, and the power loss, but it won't be actually harmful.

Put it in a place where you will see it every day (behind your computer, perhaps?), to remind you to research before you jump blindly into murky water
EDIT: I did not realize that you purchased the car with the intake. So, best not remove it yet...

Well my research got me an 05 with 82000 miles with an engine under warranty without any cels or anything wrong except for no muffler, which was fixed today and piece CAI.
