Coolant Spill

Coolant Spill
Okay, like a Jack-A, I thought I was good enough to fill the coolant up without a funnel -_-, so some of It leaked behind and under the reservoir. I been smelling the coolant/Sweet smell for about a week now. How long should this smell stay there, because I don't want a leak to magically pop up in the same time frame.

It depends on what kind of coolant really. Even if it is just remaining coolant that you spilled it would be prudent to check for leaks around your hoses.
If the coolant level is below the fill line (passenger side of the coolant bottle) then you probably have a leak somewhere.

I used the Mazda FL-22 Coolant, and I just checked the Fill lines, there is plently. Literally there is only about an inch or inch and half from the top of the bottle missing. This morning I Re filled it.. I think to much, because there was coolant around the bottle and in the area under the air filter.
