Hey everyone, watched some Rob Dahm videos :D and want your opinion before i move ahead.

I have a Series 2 with 74k on it. Thinking about getting a Versatuner, disabling the OMP and premixing at the minimum 1oz/gal.
I mainly commute to work with the car so there is some time spent idling but i do bang through 1st-3rd gear rev limit shifts every chance i get, usually 8x times in 25 mins. I also take it out on the weekends to some insane twisties and run the crap out of it where I'm above 5k rpm for 15 mins per run before i turn around and do it over again.

Curious if there are any downsides, like not enough or too much oil under certain conditions, since the OMP is variable and probably better across different conditions.
I would like to be able to run full synthetic to lube the rest of the engine components and not have to worry about byproducts from combusting the oil.

Any advice would be appreciated! Additional tips/info is also welcome.

Well, 1.. are you sure it's possible to disable the OMP(s) on a series 2?
2, nothing wrong with OMP and premix at the same time
3, the caution on synthetic made sense 20 years ago, today it's less of a thing. Oil has changed and continues to change. It's not super economical to burn synthetic, but it's not taboo.
4. You don't need to bounce it off the limiter every red light, actually do not do that. You need constant high load over a long period so track days or a nice long uphill or onramp in 2nd or 3rd is plenty.
5. Rob makes monsters using older rotaries, you may notice he doesn't work on Series 2 RX8s. So don't assume what works for him makes sense for your daily driver.
