Diving in with a full track car build
I'm pleased to own a rotary again with my purchase of a non-running 2008 base model RX8.
I purchased this car specifically to prepare it for NASA's ST5 class. Initially, I'm going to "just get it on tack", then I'll work on improving it to make it perform better.
The engine is already being torn down by my builder.
I've got the entire interior gutted in preparation for a scheduled full cage installation.
I've already purchased a 2010 series 2 car from which I'll pull various parts to enhance Series 1 weak areas (the transmission), enhance other areas (rear differential ratio, starter), and provide spare parts.
Un-needed parts from both cars will be sold off to forum members, including the wheels seen above. I'll post ads once I get past the minimum number of posts.
