ive tried looking online but i cant really find anything. i found a really nice and cheap deal for some tein flex z coilovers online but theyre for a mazda atenza (tein flex z gj2fw/gj2fp) just wondering if the rx8 uses any coilovers that are same as other cars? thank you

Those wouldn't work.

MX-5 are similar... but have much different spring rates and damping because the cars are very different weights

NC Miata will bolt up, there are many shared features between the two cars, but yeah.. that's not a great idea.

Cheap and suspension don't go together. Not on this car. It's not an econobox where literally anything is better than stock. What you get from the factory is already very good for the purpose. There's a reason 8's made many appearances in various autocross stock classes while the car was in production.

Look into BC Racing, good midrange option for the price. I ordered Blitz ZZ-R coilovers from RHDjapan.com

There's lots of options, but anything worth the time and effort to install is going to start around 1400$
