Driver side window won't budge
I drove to the store the other night and the power windows all worked perfectly. Everything was fine. The next afternoon I get in and the driver side window won't open. Won't even budge. All the other controls on the door work perfectly along with the passenger side window so I assume it isn't an electrical problem.
It doesn't make much of a noise when I try to raise/lower the window, but I'm a little heartbroken since this is the only true problem I've had with my 8 after three years. Any ideas what it could be and how much the dealership is going to rip me off when I go in?

As the passenger window works, fuse is out and you sound as though you can hear some life, however faint, when you activate the switch so switch is probably okay. Sounds to me as though you have a project in store. Pull the door panel and see if A) any leads are loose or broken between the door-jamb and the motor. B) the motor is, indeed turning the drive gear. and c) are the drive gear and the regulator gear meshing cleanly. While you are in there, it couldn't hurt to check the window track for wear and lube it with a bit of silicone spray once the motor/gears/regulator are working correctly.
